A Ministry for Everyone

No matter your age or place in life, we want you to have a way to plug in.

Men's Ministry

Our men’s ministry exists to connect men at our church and encourage them to be Christ-centered leaders in their homes, at work, and in their other spheres of influence.

Through breakfasts, retreats, and regular informal gatherings, we train and encourage men to be servant leaders in everything they do. Want to learn more? Email admin@oakcitychurch.com.

Women's Ministry

Whether you’re single, married, a mom, a retiree, or anywhere in between, our Women’s Ministry wants to help you find a place to connect with other women at Oak City Church. Our goal is to create a community where women from all walks of life can grow together in friendship and faith. We build this through formal, informal, and social gatherings.

No matter where you are in your life, we’d love you to join us as we learn what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Learn more about how to get involved by emailing admin@oakcitychurch.com.

Student Ministry

Our Student Ministry gathers students from middle school through high school and encourages them to grow in their understanding of who God is, develop a personal relationship with Him, and equip them to serve and be sent to the community around them.

We do this by meeting on Sunday nights where we dig into God's word, have a ridiculous amount of fun, and share life with each other and with our student ministry leaders. Outside of our weekly meetings, we serve monthly in our community, go on retreats and day trips, and have lots of fun, informal events. Our leaders try to attend the students’ sports and school events to connect with them in their own space.

Children's Ministry

At Oak City, we really love children—and God has blessed us with so many of them! Our goal is to partner with you to introduce your children to Jesus and help them grow as learners, lovers, and givers who are sent on mission to make more disciples.

Each Sunday, our Children’s Ministry team is ready and excited to love and learn with your child. From check-in to pick-up, we are prepared to serve families with children birth through fifth grade with fun, exciting, and engaging worship and teaching. We strive to create an environment for children where they are learning, experiencing, and participating in the gospel.

Prayer Ministry

The OCC Prayer Ministry exists to be prayer warriors, to pray with urgency and intention for those who can’t, to listen and receive what God would tell us, and to equip and encourage the church to do the same. The message of the gospel is how much we need God. Prayer is a reminder of our dependence on God in all circumstances. It is also our great privilege and responsibility to pray for others.

The prayer team gathers for intense, acute prayer in times of great need for church family members, our city, our nation, and our world. Prayer is not the least we can do; it is the first line of defense and offense against a relentless enemy and a hurting world. Our prayers matter and God hears every single one.

If you are going through a tough time and think it would be helpful to have someone to talk to in addition to prayer, we’d love to help you. Contact Katie Pritchett to learn about the Stephen Ministry.
