In Judges we see what happens when 'every man does what is right in his own eyes.' It is a series of stories highlighting what happens when we stop trusting God, and how God is merciful to rescue us. You don't have to look too closely to see yourself in this series of stories, to realize how tiring this cycle is, and to long for something more.
