Equipping Parents: Let’s Talk About S-E-X

  • February 16 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Sexual integrity through the phases

Our Equipping Parents sessions offer biblical guidance and practical information on topics facing parents. Our first session of the year is about a subject that will definitely affect every parent and child: how to address the topic of sex with your kids. Even if your children are young, this seminar is a great resource to prepare for the future.

In a world of increasing accessibility, kids are making sexual decisions and asking big questions at a younger age and often without the benefit of much help from the grown-ups in their lives. We all want our kids to make good and wise decisions about sexuality, but these conversations are often awkward, at best. What if there was a better plan than having “the talk” just once and then leaving the rest to chance? We have a unique opportunity to guide our kids and teenagers to see their sexuality as a beautiful part of their life and faith. Join us next month as we learn together how to guide our kids towards healthy sexuality at every phase of their lives.

Heather Sullivan, lead director of KidCity at Hope Community Church, will be sharing about this incredibly important topic.

The cost is $10 per family, and childcare is $5 per child. Coffee and light breakfast snacks will be served for the adults.

Register to attend, and for childcare here.
