The 2019 Bible Reading Challenge kicks off January 1! If you’re interested in participating, sign up here. You’ll be added to an email list, and receive periodic emails with updates and words of encouragement.

Step 1: Pick a plan

Plan 1 – A full-Bible chronological reading plan

This plan will go through the whole Bible chronologically, so it will put everything in an ‘as-it-happened’ timeline. Here is a link to a paper version for this plan. And here is a link to a modified paper version that shortens it slightly if you have trouble keeping up.

Plan 2 – A New Testament-only plan

This plan will go through the New Testament in a year. It involves about a chapter of reading each day. It’s great if you are just getting started developing the habit of reading the Bible. This would be a great plan for your kids as well.

Step 2: Subscribe online

Many of us will be reading through the plans and following along on The Bible App (YouVersion).

Through The Bible App, we have created invitations to the Oak City groups for each plan. The reading plans will start on January first. These will allow you to participate in the discussions that happened daily this year around each day’s reading. If you need help downloading the app, let me know. Once you have it downloaded, click your link below and you should be set up.
